About LHM Partners

LHM Partners is a doctor-owned organization designed to maximize the success of longevity, hormone and lifestyle medicine practices. LHM was founded when two physicians, Hyung Kim, MD, MBA, FACP, and Tom Basch, MD, saw the gaps in the traditional healthcare system and decided to take a different approach.

Before LHM Partners was established, Dr. Kim and Dr. Basch started GenAge Center. Building GenAge Center from the ground up gave the team valuable insights. They experienced firsthand the challenges of creating a new kind of healthcare practice. They discovered that individual practices had no leverage to negotiate pricing and service contracts, and practice owners did not have a way to plan and maximize a retirement/exit strategy for their practice.

Through the process of starting GenAge Center, Dr. Kim recognized a gap in the marketplace and an opportunity to bring his knowledge, experience and expertise to longevity, hormone and lifestyle medicine physicians in similar situations. Seeking out another experienced colleague, Dr. Kim recruited Kristen Cusack, a fellow MBA and former CEO of a healthcare platform company, to bring these services to the longevity, hormone and lifestyle medicine space.

They combined their medical knowledge and business expertise to create a whole-person model that improved health, enhanced overall patient wellness, and boosted vitality. The success of this model led them to create LHM Partners as a way to share their expertise with like-minded physicians in the longevity, hormone and lifestyle medicine field who wanted to achieve similar benefits.
